Michel de Hey's DJ career kicked off with his first release 'Break' entering the US Billboard top ten. Since then, he has developed his funky techno sound to what it is today. He's no stranger to club promotion, with his own night 'Future…' in Nighttown in Rotterdam pulling in the punters from all round Europe since its naissance in 1996. Michel has since invited many international artists to educate the crowd with quality house and techno. Michel is one of the people who took responsibility for dance music and its direction on the local Rotterdam scene. With his talent both as a producer and as a DJ, Michel opened the door to techno and techhouse for generations of clubbers. Due to his hectic schedule Michel stopped his night in 2003. Nowadays Michel is still a household name in Holland, winning several Best Dj Awards. Furthermore he transformed into an international dj who has seen almost every club and festival all over the world. His latest productions and mixcds emphasize his status as a dj and producer.
